Dispute Resolution

If you have a problem that needs to be resolved we encourage you to discuss it with us. The Staff and Administrators of CVIC are here to help you. Please feel free to talk to a Director or Instructor of your choice.

  1. Abuse of any kind or description
  2. Academic Policy
  3. Classroom Function
  4. Classmates
  5. Fees
  6. Homestay
  7. A CVIC Agent

Also, if you wish, you may contact your Agent to explain your situation. There are times when a professional from your country will have a better understanding of your situation and more readily determine a resolution and suggest it to CVIC.

If the problem cannot be resolved with the individual you have chosen and you do not feel further discussion will be of benefit it is recommended that you immediately bring the problem to the attention of a CVIC Director. A meeting of the College Directors will be called. You will be welcome to attend the meeting to present your concerns and be involved in the decision making process. A resolution to the problem will then be decided.

Personal Problem Resolution

Be assured that any discussions between yourself and school staff will be private and confidential.

You should bring your personal problem to a member of the College Staff immediately. There are many avenues of approach so that a personal problem does not become unmanageable or embarrassing. Your success, happiness, and safety are CVIC's first concern and we are here to help you.
