Tuition Refund Policy

Our refund policy complies with the standards established by the "Private Post Secondary Education Commission of British Columbia as follows; (please note that the course registration fee and the homestay placement fee are not refundable)

CVIC reserves the right to improve upon these policies as it sees fit.

In all instances written notice must be submitted by the student to the College. If a student is dismissed by the College then written notice will also be given by the College to the student.

All approved refunds will be made within (30) days of receipt of written notice. Students registered by representatives will receive refunds through their representatives.

The complete Refund Section of the "General Directives of the Private Post Secondary Education Commission of British Columbia" are available by request.

Refund 100%, if the College is immediately notified and prior to the first day of studies if;

• a. You are denied a Study Permit from Citizenship and Immigration Canada, or
• b. You do not receive a Study Permit prior to the start of a program of study (In such an instance a student may request to start on a future intake day)

• a. Less than (7) calendar days after the contract is made, the college will return all funds.
• b. (30) calendar days or more before the start of a program of study, the college will return 80% of funds.
• c. Subject to "a." above, less than (30) calendar days before the start of a program of study, the college will return 75% of funds.

If written notice of withdrawal is received, or a student is dismissed,

• a. Within 10% of the program of studies duration, the college will refund 50% of fees.
• b. After 10% and before 30% of the program of studies duration, the college will refund 30% of fees.
• c. After 30% of the program of studies duration, no refund.
