Built in 1929 Filberg Lodge is located on nine acres of beautifully landscaped grounds. The old exotic trees from many parts of the world, herb gardens, flower gardens, acres of manicured lawns provide an enjoyable setting fro a stroll or picnic. Filberg is home of the "Hands On Childrens Petting Zoo". Also, each year, in early August, The Filberg Festival (attracting over 50,000 visitors from many parts of the world) is held, featuring works by internationally acclaimed Artists, Craftspeople, and Entertainers.
